Before choosing curtain, you have to consider in terms of other factors in your home or your room such as, Furnitures, Room colour, Floor colour or it depends on a room's purpose. 1. Type of fabric is divided into 3 types.
1.1 Blackout or Night curtain: blackout can keep up to 100% of outside UV or light from entering into the room that means the temperature in your space will be reduced, when you put blackout curtain. Blackout is made from 3 different processes.
- 1.11 Blackout foam coating or foam backed is made from acrylic silicone at the back of curtain.
This foam lining is used to block UV, light, heat but, it is not washable because foam is easy to come off when water penetrate on the surface. Furthermore, the layer of fabric is thick so, sewing fabric is quite difficult. For cleaning, you can use dust mite vacuum cleaner in order to get rid of dust mite.
- 1.12 Blackout silicone coating or silicone backed has been bounded by silicone and blackout silicone coating is more pliable and thicker than blackout foam coating. Consequently, it is extremely good blockout properties to protect againts sunlight and heat. If you choose this material to make a wave curtain, the appearance will be clearly shown as curve. Also, it is washable, or you can easily clean by wiped for easy spot cleaning.
- 1.13 Double shade is divided into 3 levels. First level is front side of fabric. Second level is a black rubber
sheet. Third level is back side of fabric. Whereas front and back sides have been made by the same fabric.
Double shade is washable and ironable for cleaning. However, double shade's texture is thicker than blackout foam and blackout silicone so, the wave of blackout foam and blackout silicone will be more clear than the wave of double shade.

1.2 Dimout is able to protect UV from the outside around 40%-95%. The making process is different between dimout and blackout. Dimout is divide to 3 levels while, black yarn is waved for the middle level and this level is thinner than blackout and also will keep the UV. Therefore, the dimout's curve will be clearer than the blackout's curve. Moreover, dimout is easy to sew.

1.3 Day curtain 's texture is thinner than blackout and dimout because of lightweight material. Furthermore, light is allowed into the room during the day because day curtain will help to filter about 80% whereas, providing you privacy.

2. Colour is a significant factor for decoration that will compliment your style and overall look and feel of your home. If you choose bright colour, your room will be more space because bright colour is able to increase and reflect light. On the other hands, If dark colour is applied in your room, your room will be a narrow room.
